He said what? No more video?

I've noticed lately that there's lots of kids around the OKC with cameras filming for videos and whatnot.  Some pretty tight crews roaming the streets these days.  I keep noticing local spots in montages that I've never seen before.  This never used to be the case, we used to know all the spots in all the 'hoods from North to South, East to West.  

Well, like 'ol Dylan used to say, the times they are a'changin.  And with all these new up-and-comers uhhh, up and coming, I've come to a decision.  I'm no longer making another TDS skateboard video.  That's right, you heard it here first.  Actually this is probably the only place you'll hear it. Regardless, that's the deal. It brings a tear to my eye, but a smile to my heart to know that I don't have to deal with this anymore.

New Look, New Video, New Trick

All hail the blogging boom. I'm going to try this out here for a minute, maybe longer. I've gone and replaced the CBS homepage with a blog. If you look over there on the right, my other pages are still linked to. I will be customizing this more over the next couple days. I'm not sure what the reason for this change is, either I'm lazy and want to take the easy way out or I'm becoming increasingly more internet-savvy and am keeping up with the Web2.0 era. I'd like to think it's the latter.


I've been talking to some peeps and it looks like the new vid may take a little longer. However it will be worth it as we're looking to get some of the OG's in there. I'm currently tracking down Grant, Billy Knight and The BandiTT for contributions. I also hear that the infamous Justin Roy (pictured on right) has been killing it lately. You can expect him and some more West Coast homies as well. Just chill.



I don't know what else is new lately, maybe I can round up some skate news for you...Ok, the new Alien Workshop "Mind Field" trailer is pretty good, check that out. Dylan Rieder's front blunt slide shove-it out at Austin High ditch is amazing. I really want to see Dill and Kirchart's parts, they better be fucking good.

Speaking of Austin apparently some clever thieves are running an ATM scam in Austin . You better watch out for that one. For real.

Last Saturday I woke up early, NOT hungover. That in itself was quite a feat. I was ready to go skate and couldn't find anyone to join me. So I went to Arockalypse and hung out with Brandon for awhile. I started skating around in the shop, just killing the flatground as usual. After a few minutes of messing around, I decided it was time to up the ante in skateboarding. So I invented a trick. I can't say I've ever seen anyone do this trick. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody's done it before, but I don't care. I documented it, and it's going up here right now for proof. I'd like to give Brandon major props for filming such a ground-breaking maneuver. Without further ado, I bring you "The BibbSpin".
