Bibb's Blog Page, OKC Skateboarding

Wednesday, 04.09.08..........

• I've been learning more and more about current internet practices, namely all this Web 2.0 business such as blogging and whatnot. I'm also looking at using Google Apps for the company I work for, but I can't seem to find certain answers I'm looking for before getting started. If anyone out there knows about Google Apps, could you give me a holler? Thanks.

• I've been talking to some peeps and it looks like the new vid may take a little longer. However it will be worth it as we're looking to get some of the OG's in there. I'm currently tracking down Grant, Billy Knight and The BandiTT for contributions. I also hear that the infamous Justin Roy (pictured on right) has been killing it lately. You can expect him and some more West Coast homies as well. Just chill.

• I don't know what else is new lately, maybe I can round up some skate news for you...Ok, the new Alien Workshop "Mind Field" trailer is pretty good, check that out. Dylan Rieder's front blunt slide shove-it out at Austin High ditch is amazing. I really want to see Dill and Kirchart's parts, they better be fucking good.

• Speaking of Austin apparently some clever thieves are running and ATM scam in Austin . You better watch out for that one. For real.

• Remember when I told you about Blackle? Well forget that, the real goods is Googoth!

Monday, 03.31.08..........

• I guess it's been a month since I posted on the blog. Oh well, at least I've been putting up clips, right?

• This past Saturday a pretty deep crew rolled through Nompton and put the hurt down on a couple spots, thanks to our tour guide Jesse. I got a few good clips, maybe a couple will make it up on here. If you're lucky!

• Don't forget about the ARockalypse thingy going down on April 19th, hopefully no one will show up in trenchcoats and proceed to terrorize the event. I'm doing a board for the art show, so you know I'm totally going to win, even though it isn't a contest. Or is it?

Friday, 02.29.08..........

• It's a freakin' leap year! This is truly significant in that it will probably be the only leap year mentioned here on Cheeseburger Supreme.

• Last night I went out skating around my house since I didn't make it to the indoor park on time. I found two manual pads that are pretty fun. I also skated some orange I-beams that were stacked up on the side of Home Depot. It's been awhile since I went out exploring on my skateboard and I'm really glad I did. Hopefully someone will read this and go do the same thing. Except, don't bother going to Home Depot in hopes of skating some new metal ledges because they're not that good. But if you live across the street it's worth stopping by.

Also, if you live in the suburbs, chances are there's not much exploring to be done in your neighborhood. But you never know, you might happen upon a hot neighbor chick and totally wind up making out with her. That happens to me all the time. Not really. I've got a girlfriend.

• Anybody reading this right now (3:50 pm) should stop, get up, go outside, get in your car and drive to Mat Hoffman Action Sports Park cuz I heard that Billy Knight and Grant Tatum are there skating. A couple of legends right there. Holler!

Wednesday, 02.26.08..........

• How many of you Canadians (or otherwise) have heard of Alastair Heseltine? I hadn't either, but if he chopped all that wood 'imself it makes perfect sense since (sense since) he probably lives in North BC and is a damned artsy lumberjack.

• Why don't you stop ranting about zeitgeist and go ahead and trip out on Dick Sutphen's "Persuasion and Brainwashing Techniques Being Used On the Public Today"? Although zeitgeist is pretty entertaining, but it would probably suck without that narrator.

• It looks like Chuck knows when to jump into the signature clothing industry. Even though this advertisment is definitely somewhat dated, make sure and note the address of the manufacturer, it's in Oklahoma City, fool!!!

Sunday, 02.2?.08..........

•Wanna decorate your pad with some really hip furniture? Cuz I don't. But if you do, check out padstyle.com for some choices. There's some cool stuff there.

• Create your own trippy kaeidoscope and zone out while you should be working. Or Skateboarding.

• Oh no! The Joker's gotten ahold of The Gotham Times! Where is The Dark Knight?! Very nice promotional materials in my opinion. I'm telling you this movie is going to be awesome.

Here is a game where you're a japanese chick and the object is to slap this other chick in the face over and over until you win or she beats your ass! It's actually kind of hard, too.

• Wow look at vertus tech's Top 40 Photoshopped Images. And I thought I was good with my ability to cut out a picture somewhat decently. Erik hates that photo. Sorry Erik. I needed a hyperlink.

Monday, 02.18.08..........

• Footy has been floating in from a couple different sources, with some nice clips of Crawdad, Erik D and variousl homies. Now if I could just get Nuge to send some stuff...

• I wish I could go the Harbin Snow and Ice Festival in China. That looks cold.

• For any of you dirty hippies that are reading this, if you're for real about being a hippie then you should already be doing this. If not, well, what kind of hippie are you anyways?

• For any of you nerdy appliance-users that are reading this, if you're for real about being a nerd then you should already know about this. Actually that link really fuckin' sucks. Sorry for the sucky link.

• this Human Tetris game should more-than make up for the shitty-ness of the last link. enjoy.

Thursday, 02.14.08..........

• Aaaahh, Valentine's Day. It's a terrible excuse for a holiday really.

• If you don't know about "The Dark Knight" yet then you're definitely blowing it. I mean, just look at the poster...

.............................

How could you NOT want to go see this movie based solely on the poster above, not to mention that Batman Begins was amazing, also not to mention that the guy in the poster (Heath Ledger, aka The Joker) is now dead?! Damn that poster is awesome.

Tuesday, 02.12.08..........

• It's Tuesday! Metal Tuesday! Or is it "What's Going On In Skateboarding Day?" I guess it's both;

• The Nuge is on Circa. I actually hate Circa shoes but I like Nuge and Lizard and Gerwer, so i'll give it a chance.

• I guess Sean Malto and Mike Taylor are on Etnies. I'm not a fan of Etnies either, but it's better than DC or DVS, that's for sure. I think that's gonna be it for the skateboarding talk, i'm not THAT into skateboarding.

• Ever wondered what the Top 20 Websites are? Well, here you go.

.................

• Click on that badass picture above this sentence and check out 33 Weird Statues and Sculptures Around the World. Dayummmmmmmm!

• I don't really know what to say about this, but you can trip out on it for a minute, if you feel like reading. I like reading. You lazy bastards. Read it, why don't ya?

• I guess this is cool to think about, but I highly doubt it would be as carefree or simple as it's stated.

• Alright, that's it for today. Gotta go to Metal Night!

Wednesday, 02.06.08..........

Holy shit, who's into fantasy art? I do believe that's worthy of being the only thing posted today.

Tuesday, 02.05.08..........

Thanks for the pic Tiger! See you at Metal Night! Electro on Tuesday Nights for anyone that doesn't know! Be there!

• So how about my new bullets over there separating each blurb? Pretty nice, huh? Good ol' Option 8, that's about the the only thing I remember from my Adobe Pagemaker class back in '99.

• This is pretty cool, SketchSwap. You do a little drawing, then hit "swap" and it takes your drawing away and brings you one somebody else did. I did a sketchy (pun intended) drawing of some boobies and got back a picture of a house. Maybe you'll be more successful than I.

• I want to go to this Art School in Singapore. Seriously. Maybe then my website would be more awesomer.

• Pretty cool stuff for you web-nerds. Watson, you might like this site... What's up with your real site anyways? When's it comin'?

Geneticists discover a way to extend lifespans to 800 years! Oh man that really sucks if you ask me. Everyone would have to stop making babies. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but good luck trying.

Friday, 02.01.08..........

• Someone told me there was a new local video coming out. Does it have anything to do with TDS? What about Ryan "Crawdad" Watson and Terry Matthews and El Thermo and The Nuge and Mitch Ledbetter and Zack Moore and Erik Deringer and Brandon Sowards and Gabe and Micah Friedman and all those other guys? Do they even skate anymore? That'll be a total SURPRISE to me if any sort of new video came out with unseen footy, old and new. Hmmm....

• The artist otherwise known as Cherry is pairing up with Rhino Thumb and making a video as well, it'll probably be way better than the one mentioned above, so watch for it.

• Let's hate on the world's 20 richest people! Boo on them for being successful. Or maybe instead of hating you should change your last name to Adelson and holler at your long-lost uncle.

• Did anyone notice my sesame seed links? There's 4 of 'em on the bun...

Computer Programmer or Serial Killer? Or Both?

This isn't much of a game, but it held MY interest for about 4 minutes.

Tuesday, 01.29.08..........

Ol' CheeseburgerSupreme.com has gone and gotten itself a MySpace. Befriend if you like...

Check out this (possibly) inconvenient truth.

Certain brain diseases may not actually be all that bad... but Syphilis? Not so sure about that one.

How about the 25 weirdest animals in the world?

Holler!

Monday, 01.28.08..........

This is a shout-out to anyone who has ever worked in a skateshop and had to deal with the little-kid-request of "lacing my shoes that one way." Now you have no excuse.

A little while back I was hanging out in Mitch's kitchen. While I was there I took a bunch of pictures of his doorway. I combined the pic's with Ike Turner and here's the result. Neat-O.

Okay, this is awesome. I stumbled across Revolution Health's 10-most alarming toy recalls. All I have to say about this is "Aqua Dots". Number 4. Little toy beads that upon ingestion chemically-change into the date-rape drug GHB!!!! I want some of those.

This guys's list of anagrams is fantastic.

Wednesday, 01.23.08...........

Okay so Tyler is fixin' to Get Radd. Props Dog. Man I need to film more.

Here's some things you can do to be annoying and/or creepy and/or weird.

The fucking bacon is back! I don't know if any of you couldn't see the picture on the Bacon page, but I fixed it, for real. Like you care.

There is a new video out there by Ian Schulman and Tom Carter (I do not know these people) cleverly titled "Haulin' Ass to Hall n' Oates". This video is amazing. Good skating, good filming, and unsurprisingly, a Hall n' Oates soundtrack. So good. Props to you Ian and Tom.

Here's some cool furniture by David Delthony. I make stuff just like that in my spare time. Just kidding. Go on and get you some of these USBcell's for your TV Remote.

I didn't know Prince had tits, did you? You gonna light that pipe? I said,...

Woooo boy do we ever have some links goin' tonight!

E-mail me! Tell me somethin'. Come on, do it...

Saturday, 01.12.08..........

Upon returning from the annual Momentum art show, I realized I still hate art shows. Momentum was kind of fun but that's probably because there were good friends there. Did I say I hate art shows? Because I do. I do not care to partake in whatever goes on at these damned things. Blah blah blah.

Checked out a couple spots today near downtown, had a good time, got some clips, made a video.

Thursday, 01.10.08..........

Oh, hold on I've got a call on line 5......Okay I'm back. Hey, long time no see, website! How you been? Anything new? Guess not, since I haven't updated you.

In local skateboard drama, somebody knocked the kink off the hubba at 10th and Penn. I don't know who did it, but I do know that a lot of people had issues with the kink. The kink in question apparently made it difficult to do tricks on. Well this is what I have to say about that:

"You guys are fucking lazy! If you don't like it, don't skate it. But be a man about it. Grind through that fucking kink, goddamnit!"

Come on man, if you want to skate a basic hubba, go to a fucking skatepark. I thought the kink was terrific. It only makes any trick you do that much better. I've never skated the damn thing and I don't really care to, but if you want to progress on shit like that, you gotta skate the tuff stuff. Props to Scotty for NOT being lazy and actually building shit to skate. Even if it's not the best, it's still something.

I do find it rather funny that even though this ledge was created by skaters for skaters, a skater(s) still treated it like a regular old city spot and made it easier to skate. Whatever, enough about that.

Wednesday, 01.02.08..........

Well, I made it to the new year. Feels just like the old one. . Whatever.

You think that skeleton picture is copyrighted? How does that work? I don't know...

So go to Arockalypse's site and watch the new quarter-pipe montage. It's pretty good, but I hate that damned song. I don't care if Rockey had a montage or not. He shouldn't have had a song about it...

Sunday, Dec. 30th, 2007..........

I'm gonna cut right to the chase here. Once you hit your mid-20's and you're still skateboarding somewhat regularly, you're probably a lifer. Right? Right. And chances are if you are one of these "lifers" then you've already been skating for at least 10 years. Which means you've put in some work. You've paid some dues. And so, if you're a skateboarder over the age of 25, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO SKATEBOARD AT YOUR LOCAL PARK, EVER!

Furthermore, you should also be able to decide whether or not you need a fuckin' helmet, pads, etc. I'm not going to name names here, I'll just say that would be MY policy if I had a skatepark. And if this offends anyone, well, I don't give a shit. I would probably be skateboarding a lot more in wintertime if I didn't have to pay 10+ dollars to skateboard for an hour. FUCK THAT! I'm getting more pissed off just typing this.

I mean, make the kids pay, sponsor the ones you like so they don't have to pay, and let the old guys off the fuckin' hook, man. I already get enough shit for "still riding one of those things" at my age. Why you gotta make me more depressed thinking I should be spending that 11 dollars on my credit card bill or god forbid some little screaming baby, instead of at the local skooter-board park. I guess that's what happens when a skatepark is owned and operated by a non-skateboarder. And I know the fuckin' employees that work for a park like that feel the same damned way. That's all. Peace.

Oh there's a new clip up. Helmets and all.

Friday, Dec. 28th, 2007..........

There's a new page up!!! The Lettuce link will now take you to a page dedicated to movies. More specifically, movie posters. Cult classics, Horror movies, Popular titles, everything. And if it exists on IMDb.com then there's a link to the information. So enjoy it while you can, I may get bored quickly.

Check out Slacker Radio. A streaming radio site where you can create a station that plays only bands of your choosing. And they have just about everything to pick from.

I am so fucking excited about this movie, it's all I can think about. I know it's a little obsessive, but hey, whatever. I don't care.

............................

There's a new clip up, too. Peace.

Monday, Dec. 24th, 2007..........

Merry Christmas everybody! Thanks for the image Tiger. Would somebody please buy me this for Christmas even though it's pretty much over already? I'm talking about the Cheeseburger, obviously.

Here's a Video Christmas Card from the folks over at Black Box Distribution.

Charlie Wilson's War is a good flick. And a true story that portrays 3 people doing a great deal more to end the Cold War than the entire US Gov't could pull off. Well worth a matinee price, but I don't know about a regular showing at full price. Philip Seymour Hoffman's character is pretty much the shit. And there's lots of hot babes in it too.

Guess that's all for tonight, I've got gifts to wrap and rum to drink...

Wednesday, Dec. 19th, 2007..........

Okay, so all you fuckers who complained about my Bacon page not having a cheeseburger on it (it was a BLT, therefore somewhat relevant) have prompted me to change it up. The Bacon page now features videos and bacon only. No bread, mayo or tomatos. Just. Bacon.

FourDuos is conducting a poll to see who's Fully Flared part is favored most. Who gives a shit? Seriously. Not me.

There's a rumor going around that they are almost done with a new cement skatepark down behind Lake Overholser. I heard it looks pretty damn good.

What is this world coming to? This article makes me wonder... And what about this? I say go for it, Don Cheadle! You do whatever you can to bring home the bacon, man.

"Rolling Thunder. Electricity in the Air. The rumble of the crowd mixes with the rumble of the balls striking the pins as your glasses strike together, toasting a great time with friends old and new." -------- Boy does that blurb suck. But apparently that's what you can expect when you experience the awesomeness of the new REDPIN "upscale" bowling alley in Bricktown. I mean, it looks hip and there's probably a good time to be had, but I think I'll always prefer a traditional bowling alley.

Tuesday, Dec. 18th, 2007..........

Man, I been busy as shit, and I have no internet at home still (no thanks to COX!) so I don't really have much to add, but ConRAD's got some pictures up. That's all for today...

Thursday, Dec. 13th 2007..........

Tuesday was my birthday. I got drunk. And kissed a girl. Good birthday. End of story.

No Country For Old Men. Go see this movie. Unless you're the kind of person that can't sit through a captivating, wonderfully-written, shot and performed film because it's slow-moving. Then don't go see it. Let me note that a guy left the movie about halfway through and puked 3 or 4 times in the hallway leaving the theater. I guess it's kind of violent and gory, but hey. What the hell.

Before The Devil Knows You're Dead. Go see this movie as well. If you can find it playing anywhere. This film is pretty intense, and it stars Philip Seymour Hoffman who is a badass. Oh yeah. Marisa Tomei is naked at least 3 times in this movie. I don't mean a flash of nudity here and there, she pretty much sits around topless a lot of the time. And the opening scene is her getting nailed. That's worth the price of admission right there.

If you don't take my advice and miss these movies, you're pretty much retarded. I want to go see No Country again just looking at the trailer.

What's happening in skateboarding? I have no idea. Seriously. Except for that Lakai's Fully Flared is a damned good video. How about a mini-review? Okay:

The skateboarding in this video is top-notch. The most innovative skating being done right now for one team, even though many of the tricks done by the older guys i'm sure they did on 2-inch high curbs in 1991. But taking them to rails is pretty fucking badass. The music is about half-good, half-completely terrible for a skate video. It's a little heavy on the slow-mo and eyeball shots as well, but the HD does look pretty amazing. The transition between riders' parts was really cool, involving photographs. So aside from the slow-ass dramatic music it's pretty unbelievable. Good job Ty Evans, Spike Jonze and whoever else was involved.

Saturday, Dec. 8th 2007..........

Last Friday I went to TeeRent's photography opening in Nompton. The exhibit was a series of various scenes involving Timmy and a gasmask. Some of them were a little unsettling, which I guess is a good thing. I poached one with the digi for your viewing:

Good work Trent!

It looks like Mitch found something! A quarter maybe? A roach? Who knows?

And here's my photography exhibit:

Yeah, that's right, digital beauty, i think the computer processors did more work than I did. If you want to shun the digi and do things the good old fashioned way, check Conrad's page out.

Thursday, Dec. 6th, 2007..........

I totally saw Chino from the Deftones at Electro last night. I actually don't care for the Deftones at all, I just wanted to do some name-dropping. There was also an NBA player there who is Russian. I don't even know his name or who he plays for, so that's just pointless words.

The man known as Conrad (cuz that's his name) gave me a sweet painting today. I really enjoy it, especially dudes' teeth, and it's already hanging on the wall. Thanks Conrad!

Conrad has also graciously joined this website and has his own page. You say To-MAY-to, I say To-MAH-to. Tomato. I guess he will put whatever the hell he wants to, so look forward to...uhhh...who knows?

(edit to post) There's a sweet new video tonight over in the Bacon.

Wednesday, Dec. 5th, 2007..........

Remember awhile back when I said there would be some new stuff on here by a couple different people? Well Guess what!!! There still ISN'T!!! Yet, anyways. I know i'm slackin', but you guys have better shit to do anyway right? I know I surely do. What things, you may ask? Things like folding t-shirts really quickly, reading books by Cormac McCarthy, Learning how to play wack christmas songs on the guitar, and searching for a corkscrew.

The video I added today is a shout-out to Goldschlager, Friedman and the BANDiTT. Or however he likes it to be capitalized. I just want to say "what up!" to those fools. It's not new, but that's okay. I got some new footy somewhere though, I know it...

Oh my god, does anyone remember this shit? One of the most amazing pieces of skateboard-video-creation ever done, Sal Barbier's in that thing somewhere, all metaled-out.

Wednesday, Nov. 28th, 2007..........

Wooo! This may be a new record. Eleven days and no post. No wonder my stats are hurting. I been busy makin' power moves, so don't even trip. It's funny cuz' i'm telling this to like the 8 people that might check this today.

If you do check it today your in luck because there's two new clips.

Saturday, Nov. 17th, 2007..........

Alright, two days in a row! Things are lookin' good over here for me. Today was pretty awesome and this is why; Terry, Therm and I went to the downtown park, ripped the place to shit and sweated out the night before. Then we went to the new hubba and, accompanied by Gabe and Mitch, ripped that place to shit as well. I don't know if Scotty has a name for his hubba yet, Terry and I were discussing what it should be called as well. I say we paint it like a rainbow and call it the gay hubba. I don't think Scotty liked that idea. Oh well, it will work itself out. There are some clips from today's shit-ripping of the (temporarily titled) Soon-To-Be-Gay Hubba. Oh yeah, and this guy, whom I met at the store on Classen downtown. The po-po one, not the homeless bum one.

Friday, Nov. 16th, 2007..........

Alright the weekend is here! In a celebratory move there is a sweet new vid over in the Bacon. I've also decided to forego the pretty orange page with a tiny video for the blank page with a bigger video. I hope you enjoy my (too lazy to make a bigger-video-template page) decision.

So Tuesday evening I experienced Beowulf in HD 3-D at Harkins Downtown Theater. I must say that although the movie is pretty good, the 3-D experience was fantastic. We arrived late for the show and therefore had to sit on the dreaded break-neck front row. Needless to say I was bummed, as was Craven, JG and Two Bit. I'd go so far as to say we were kind of over it before it started. Well, fuck that, because being in the front row with this recent 3-D technology was the best way to go. We got dragged through trees, almost killed by arrows and had a gigantic dragon blowing fire straight at our faces. JG was anticipating getting slapped in the face by Beowulf's BeoDong but thankfully that didn't happen. Go see that shit in 3-D, don't blow it. Oh and don't forget Angelina Jolie's nude CGI self. That's probably the closest you'll get from here on out.

Mad props to them fools over at You Will Soon for giving me a shout out. Yeah Watt-Digggggggs! Maybe now more than 5 people will surf on over to this waste of space. Oh yeah, I got one of them tracker things today. Now I can find out exactly how many people don't care. Holler!

Tuesday, Nov. 13th, 2007..........

Aaah, what a difference a day makes. Or 8 hours of sleep. I feel great! And so does this guy, thanks to his new heart. Well jeez, it's 10:30 a.m. and I've got a big day ahead of me. Here in a little while I've got to go move some tables from one office to another to prepare for Thanksgiving Pot Luck Luncheon tomorrow morning. I swear it's just like that show "The Office". Or that movie "Office Space".

There's a new video up, in a new bigger format!!!! I was too lazy to redesign the page yet though, but still the video is good. Peep the Bacon.

Monday, Nov. ???, 2007..........

Wow Dan, the site is looking great. Full of content, all of the buttons work, updating it daily, dang man, good job! Oh wait. Nevermind. It's going terribly. I think i'm over this damned thing. But I'm not over cheeseburgers. Maybe that alone can keep me going. Another thing I'm not over is this. Yes, beer in a frosty glass in Austin. And blue walls. But not blue balls. Austin, we shall reunite in just over a weeks time. And Star Seeds, I hope we DO NOT see each other while I visit the lovely/terrible state of Texas. But thanks for the glass. Yes, I stole it from you, Star Seeds. Hah!

Let's see, in Skateboarding News, uhhh, I looked at mine the other day and decided we were breaking up. I no longer love her. Other Board Sport news, Nuge and some homies were in town for a hot second, doing some bar-hopping and bush-jumping. Sorry I don't have hyperlinks for those two terms, as they would no doubt be super-entertaining.

I quit. Holler.

anything you want to see? comments? Email me: Dan@cheeseburgersupreme.com.

Thursday, Nov. 8th, 2007..........

I'M BACK BABY! Believe it or not, I've renewed my license, and I'm back like this guy. It's been seven days and a lot has happened. I'm not sure why it's not on that post below, but I hung out with some dead people on Halloween, most notably the over-dosed Mia Wallace and some fisherman. Saturday the third was a real doozy. I actually went skating and we filmed some stuff. Boy that Edmond Park footy never gets old, does it? After the park I experienced the musical stylings of Jay Reatard at the Conservatory. The place was a ghost-town, but the show was glorious. After that I had a photo shoot to help further my male-modeling career. I'm really trying to get some street cred in the skateboard world so I brought in some real-life skate gear and a half-pike. If you're concerned about the beer in the background, it's okay, those bottles are actually filled with urine. Seriously. Anyway, big ups to Sam Tiger for being the man behind the camera. During my photo shoot the back yard of the house came dangerously close to catching fire. Is everything cool over there Amber? The ramp is killer, Steves. Keep it up. That's enough for now. There's a new video up, contributed by Scott Sullivan. Don't forget to read Watson's blog as well.

Thursday, Nov. 1st, 2007..........

So how about I try and post every THREE days? This every day thing is failing miserably. I would like to inform you that my 30 day trial of Dreamweaver is up. So unless I can find my serial number or purchase a new one, this will be the last post for a bit.

This weekend is the Make-A-Wish benefit in Houston. I will not be attending because I am a big pussy. However, if you feel the desire, posse up and head down there to meet up with Nuge and the crew.

In the near future there will be more content on the site, compliments of Conrad Hale, Scotty Sullivan, 'ol Erik D. and maybe more. Don't trip, it's coming...

There's a new video clip up too, by the way. That's it, i'm out...

Monday, Oct. 29th, 2007..........

Well I guess I missed posting on Saturday and Sunday, but hey, who wants to work on the weekend. Oh yeah, this guy does (the one on the right). Let me tell you, the Heavy Metal Bike Ride was way better than putting hyper-links to chunks of text. And so was the Motley Crue cover band that played at ROK Bar in Bricktown. By the way, ROK Bar's spelling has those two little dots over the letter "O", I hate that shit. Please spell things correctly, unless it's the word "Tuff" cuz that one's forgivable.

Friday, Oct. 26th, 2007..........

And so the Halloween weekend/week begins...I think I started off Friday correctly this time with a good lunch. Since Terry and I did so well here, Mike Cassidy took us to lunch at the The Greens Country Club. While I only ate a sandwich, Terry kept it real by ordering the Mini Onion Burger Sliders. It's a little hard to discern, but that is actually a picture of 3 miniature burgers. But they were big for mini burgers. Yeah. Keepin' it real...

Thursday, Oct. 25th, 2007..........

Watson's latest blog entry is pretty damned funny...

Jesus. Car troubles anyone? Terry's car hasn't been starting well, so I am the designated driver-to-work for us. Until now. Right after I completed a big drop-off for work Terry and I went home for lunch. As soon as I pulled into my parking spot my clutch went out. Luckily I was in my spot as I can no longer shift gears whatsoever. Terry's car will run but it has to be jump started. My truck will start but won't go anywhere. At this point if we jump Terry's 'Rolla with my Spacecab it's all good. However our parking spots are far apart from each other, so we have to push the 'rolla over to the Spacecab, then jumpstart. How badass is that? Oh and on top of all that my driver side door won't open. Straight Dukes of Hazzard on that shit. I feel like a badass now.

Blacklight pool anyone? Only at the Electro. Maybe if the 8 ball weren't pitch black and virtually invisible and any of the sticks had tips it would be a little more fun. Probably not though. You go to Electro to dance, not play pool damn it.

Maybe i've been posting about Dr. Dog too much, well shit. I was going to do a little write-up on the show, which was great. Instead I'm going across the street to the Electro Lounge. Maybe tomorrow...

Don't forget about the Dr. Dog show at the Opolis in Norman tonight around 9:00. Check this video for the goods...

Well, there you go. I already missed a day. Oh well. By the way the unattainable is unknown at Zombo.com. You can do anything there. Thanks Tiger for the heads up on that one. While looking for that photo of Tiger I ran across this one of Lauren and I on New Years in Austin. What the hell am I wearing? And what is that look on my face? I seem to be extremely sober in that picture.

I realize(and you may or may not) that this blog isn't necessarily so much about skateboarding. I never promised anyone that. Come to think of it, I never promised anyone ANYTHING. So deal with it.

And now on to the skateboarding. I heard Paul Rodriguez is off Plan B and Nike and now rides for Zero and Chocolate Milk. You haven't heard of Chocolate Milk? That's because it's so new no one has. But wait. You'll see.

So...Broken Arrow skatepark. My first impression was "wow look at all these kids, and why the hell is there a fence around this mess of concrete in the middle of a field?". And then I remembered it was a skatepark, and that's how they usually are around here. The park is full of fun challenging obstacles and your standard bits as well. Conrad, Terry, Bobby and myself pretty much ripped the park to shit. Just go there, but watch out for little guys everywhere who have no skatepark etiquette. I also doubt very much they even know the definition of etiquette. On a final note there was a bizarro JG at the park, and I wish I had a picture.

In case you didn't notice, the cheeseburger on the main page is different. In an effort to keep this original I replaced the stock photo with one I took myself. I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that Favela and I can hook up a burger with the best of them. For the record this burger was definitely a half-pounder if not a little bigger.

Tomorrow is Sunday. We will be embarking on a journey to the Broken Arrow Skatepark. Hopefully that guy with the mustache will be there.

I will be attempting to add an entry every day. We'll see how that works out. You should also probably check out Dan Watson's blog. His glorious social commentaries are definitely some Saskatoon-ian goodness. Yeah Dan!

Word on the street is that Amber's roommate Steve, not the dog but Tim's brother, is building a mini-mini-ramp in his bedroom as we speak. Well, it's not word on the street, it's true because I saw it with my own eyes last night/early this morning. I had had a few drinks before this sighting(which could explain why I feel awesome at work today) but I'm pretty sure it's for real. So be on the lookout for Steves and his sweet ramp.

In other news Dr. Dog is playing at the Opolis in Norman next Tuesday, the 23rd. I'm not sure why that one link is red and the other blue, but whatever. Dr. Dog is a really fantastic band, so go see them.

There's a serious session going down tomorrow afternoon with some serious heads, but I'm not telling where. It's gonna be serious. I'm totally serious.

Find out what happens when I searched for "hangover" on YouTube. Terrible.

Welcome to Cheeseburger Supreme. You may be wondering what the purpose of this ridiculously named website is. All I really wanted was a place to post video clips with decent resolution, i.e. somewhere other than YouTube. So just check the Bacon any time you visit to watch some video clips.

I will try to add stuff as often as possible, or at least for the next 14 days if I can't find the registration number that came with my Dreamweaver. Peace.
